OUR FEES
Criminal Defence Services
Most of our criminal law cases are privately funded on an agreed private Fixed Fee basis, which includes everything you need to pay from start to finish. This has the advantage of quantifying the exact cost of your case for any given stage. We charge a Fixed Fee of £250 (plus VAT) for an initial consultation of up to 60 minutes with a specialist solicitor. We find it is necessary and helpful to discuss your case with you in details and help you decide if you want to proceed further. If you wish to instruct us to be your legal representative to deal with the proceedings, the initial consultation fee will be deducted from the overall costs of your case.
It is difficult to provide a precise estimate as each case is different. Our fees would depend on the complexity of your case and the length of trial, if there is any. For example, for a normal traffic offence, we would charge £1,000 for a guilty plea proceeding and £1,500 for a contested hearing at a Magistrates' Court. For a simple assault matter, we would charge a total of £4,000 (plus VAT) for a guilty plea proceeding at a Crown Court. Please note all fees do not include the cost of instructing a barrister. All fee estimates will be discussed with you and the Fixed Fee will be agreed with you before any work is carried out.
Alternatively, you can fund your case privately by providing money on account of costs and disbursements. The firm will provide you with a monthly interim report with a breakdown of the billing which can be paid on a periodical basis to spread out your costs.
If you wish to instruct us privately on a hourly rate basis, our solicitor's hourly rate is £250 (plus VAT).
Immigration Services
We charge a Fixed Fee of £250 (plus VAT) for an initial consultation of up to 60 minutes with a specialist solicitor. This covers seeing you at our office and considering your case and any documentation that you may already have. We will then advise you of your options on the strength of your case and the next steps you may wish to take. If you wish to instruct us to assist with your application, the initial consultation fee will be deducted from the total cost of our work for your application.
